  	入国、上陸のための要件として　１．有効なパスポートの所持　２．上陸目的に合うビザ（査証）のあること　３．上陸目的が虚偽ではなく、２７の在留資格（入管法）のいずれかに該当すること　４．在留期間が法務省令に合致すること　５．上陸拒否事由（入管法）にあたらないこと　６．個人識別情報の提供のすべてが必要です。
  	ビザ（査証）は外交，公用、就業、一般、通過、短期滞在、特定の７種類があります。海外の日本大使館や領事館等で発給され、具体的にはパスポートにビザの印を押します。ビザ発給と上陸手続きの迅速化、簡素化のためにあらかじめ日本で在留資格認定証明書の交付申請を行う場合が９０％を超えます。
  	ビザ（査証）は上陸許可に必要であり、許可を受けるとその使命を終えます。しかし、世間では在留資格をビザと呼び、在留資格の変更、在留期間の更新を俗にビザの変更、ビザの延長と言うようです。
  	日本では在留資格により外国人の活動を規制するシステムをとっています。従って、外国人は原則として自己の在留資格で認められた範囲の活動のみを行うことができます。在留活動、特に収益活動の規制は在留資格により異なります。まったく制限のない在留資格もあります。また、資格外活動の許可を受けた活動に限り、許可の範囲内で収益活動をすることはできます。
  	日本では収益活動のできる在留資格の中に単純労働に関するものはありません。従って、単純労働を目的とする者の入国は認められません。ただ、活動制限のない在留資格ー日本人の配偶者やその子供、永住者の配偶者やその子供、定住者などーを持つ者、資格外活動で単純労働を許可された者はその範囲で単純労働ができます。

  • A basic gide to immigration procedures for Foreign Nationals

  	Landing Procedures for foreign nationals (Article 6, Immigration Control Act)> Any foreign nationals who seek to enter Japan must satisfy all of the following conditions (Article 7, Paragraph 1 of the Immigration Control Act). 1.Hold a valid passport.　 ２．A valid visa must be affixed to the passport unless the foreign national is exempt.　３．The activities that the foreign national will be engaged in while in Japan as stated in the application must be true and must fall under one of the status of residence categories(fulfill the criteria of Ordinance of the Ministry of Justce).　４．The period of stay as requested in the application must comply with the provisions of Ordinance of the Ministry of Justce 　5．Not fall under any of the grounds for denial of landing provided of the Immigration Control Act (Article 5, Paragraph1)　６．Have provided information for personal identification
  	Status of residence shows permitting to conduct certain activities provided for in Annexed Tables while residing in Japan.
  	There is no limitation on activities from the Immigration Control Act in respect to "Permanent Resident","Spouse or child of Japanese National / Permanent Resident", and "Long Term Resident".
  	Many foreign nationals who seek to entry into Japan, more than 90 %, make use of Certificate of Eligibility. Because it means the examination on the status of residence and the adaptability for the landing examination criteria have already been completed or finished, the viza application can be admitted in a short period of time and the landing procedures are simplified.
